Dr. Doris Chao is a dedicated optometrist with more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate, high-quality eye care. She earned her degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2002 and completed internships at Ft Carson in Colorado Springs and with renowned retina specialist Dr. Charles Garcia in Dallas.

Before joining Eye Logic Eyecare, Dr. Chao owned her own private practice in Dallas and participated in international vision mission trips to Panama and Romania, helping provide eye exams and glasses to underserved communities. She is passionate about serving patients of all ages and building lasting relationships through personalized care.

Outside the office, Dr. Chao enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, staying active, and being involved in her church and community.

Dr. Julie Yi is a native Houstonian with more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry. As a glaucoma specialist, she enjoys practicing the full scope of optometry, including the diagnosis and treatment of various eye diseases, as well as fitting specialty contact lenses such as scleral and orthokeratology lenses.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Julie Yi is actively involved in her local church community, where she serves with the youth and participates in mission trips around the world. She truly enjoys being part of the Katy community and is passionate about building a welcoming, family-oriented practice where patients feel cared for like family. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
